Obviously I didn't make a post last week because I wanted to save some thoughts for this blog, and hopefully leave room to write another in NYC on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

And so the World Cyber Games qualifying begins =O.

Technically the 2009 season started last month with the new addition of the "WCG Fight Club", but this is usually where I feel the whole shabang (cool word LoL) starts. Yes, I didn't mention the online qualifiers but there has only been one so far, and although I can't speak for the other games, FIFA was less than spectacular for match scheduling. Either way, this weekend brings the best gamers from all of the USA into New York City to punch their tickets early into the US Finals. It's going to be my first time in attendance for the event, and I look forward to meeting a slew of people, and taking tons of pictures and videos. This one's kinda short, but there will be a lot more to be said later on this week =].
