While ESEA Invite Season 4 was taking place, X3O.CSS were also partaking in the 2009 Newegg.com Fall WANfest, which had $3,000 up for grabs for the winners in Counter Strike: Source. The early stages of the tournament played true to the seeds, as X3O.CSS, Immortal 7, and Zomblerz we're all to be found in the double elimination finals bracket. After sending the Zomblerz into the losers bracket at Lethal Gamers in Dallas, Texas, X3O.CSS continued their momentum to roll through Team Hausen on train by a score of 16 to 3. The upper bracket finals pitted X3O.CSS against Team Dynamic, who recently acquired Steve “sasquatcH” Cskios, and his brother Matt “ChEekZ” Cskios from Eximius Sports. The match ended in a 16 to 13 loss for X3O.CSS, and they now would have to claw their way back into things through the lower bracket. The worries were short lived however, as AZK and company blew through Team Hausen once again, and beat Team Dynamic in two straight maps to take their second title this week.
