LATEST UPDATE: x3o defeats EG.usa in the WCG 2008 USA National Grand Finals 16-12 and becomes Team USA - CS 1.6 - oh yeah, they're going to Cologne, Germany.
This World Cyber Games 2008 USA Final is this weekend and teams from across the country are flying to Los Angeles, California for their shot at the title and the $15,000 USD 1st place cash prize. The event begins Friday, October 3rd, 2008 and continues on to the finals on Sunday. Teams attending include X3O, EG.usa, MoB Gaming, Paragon of Virtue, Guardians and more. This season, Devastation was on a roller coaster, winning against EG and Complexity but yet losing to Ruins. This team was never consistent throughout their season going through a few roster changes, leaving fans in wonder whether or not they will make it this season. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look as if Devastation will be able to qualify for the playoffs even with a win over X3O...read more!

Complexity LA has had a rough ride with the 1.6 teams this season around. With a 6-5 record, they are at the edge of making playoffs. What is more unfortunate is that Complexity is known to have some problems with this specific map, dust2 and last week against Paragon of Virtue proved it. What is more important is that they have been avoiding the LAN...
